I've Been Slacking...

Good afternoon my darling dolls!

I know that lately I have been slacking to the extreme on blogs and updating and I am so terribly sorry. Things are just so crazy and hectic at the moment that I don't know if I'll ever be able to slow down and start writing again. Okay I'm kidding, Hopefully I should be starting this week to get back into blogging and what not especially on my mommy blog.

It's for women of all skin colors. I suggest you try out all the mascara's though, they're fab!

Hi kourtney I have been getting a lot slack for still carrying my 2 year old daughter and also allowing her to still sleep in my bed how do I tell my husband's family as well as my own to back off without being mean?

There's no real nice way to tell people to mind their own when it comes to your children. Just simply explain that they are your children and you know what's best for them and you're doing what you feel is right. It's a learning process and everyone does it their own way.

What motivates you each day in your professional life? What advice would you give to someone seeking an enjoyable and meaningful career?
My children are what motivate me each day. I want to be able to provide a loving, happy, and meaningful life for them. My advice is to smart small and take your time climbing the ladder. You're not going to start off being vice president or CEO of a company. It takes time. Don't rush it. Look at it as an opportunity

Will you ever have your own show ?
Probably not. Scott and I like to keep our children out of the spotlight as much as possible.

Help Children in Need This Holiday Season

My wonderful DASH dolls and I are teaming up with Stacey Bendet, creator of Alice + Olivia and Jessica Seinfeld, founder of Baby Buggy to help children in need this holiday season with a Holiday Drive. Starting today through Christmas Eve, Dash and Alice + Olivia stores nation wide will be collecting donations of new toys, books and unopened packages of diapers and wipes, which will be donated to families in need with kids aged 0-12. Unfortunately our Miami store cannot take toy donations, but will be accepting all new, unused packages of diapers, wipes and books.

As a mother I cannot imagine how devastating it must be to have your home and lives destroyed by the storm, and not know how you are to provide the essentials for your children. I really hope that through awareness and support we can provide these families with the essentials they need at this difficult time.

I am so thankful for the amazing team of people at Baby Buggy and honored to be able to play a part in helping families in need. Since its launch in 2001, Baby Buggy has donated more than 5.7 million items to families with children in need across the country.

My Thoughts on 16 And Pregnant and Teen Mom

The first time I watched 16 And Pregnant with Maci, Caitlyn, Farrah, and Amber I wasn't quite sure what to think. While I found it intriguing that MTV would create such a show at the same time I was appalled.

I've come to the conclusion that Teen Mom and 16 And Pregnant sort of glorify pregnancy and babies. While it does show teenage moms the true side of pregnancy and children, It also gives these girls a false sense that if they become pregnant, they'll become famous on MTV and make the big bucks. These girls don't stop to think how they'll pay their bills or for a package of diapers. 

I have since then stopped watching the show because I just find it down right revolting. These girls have taken everything for granted. Amber has been in and out of jail and has created a dysfunctional family for her daughter. Farrah is more focused on getting her name out and becoming a household name like Martha Stewart before spending time with her daughter. The day that Farrah posted on twitter saying "I can't believe Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant again. Didn't she learn anything from Teen Mom?" Like back the truck up hunnie, what do I have to learn from Teen Mom?!?!? I am a successful business woman who can afford a house full of children and I'm also now 33 years old, meaning I had my first child when I was 30! I have nothing to learn from you sweetie pie. While I have all respect for Caitlyn, she realized she could not afford to have a child and did the responsible thing. I also like Maci and believe she is a good mother.

I just hope MTV realizes how stupid this show is and stops it. Ugh.
