Santa Clause Is Coming To Town...

I was reading the paper this morning when I came across an amazing story about a "layaway angel" in K-Mart. This layaway angel who remains anonymous was walking around the store, handing out $50 bills and paying peoples layaways. People around the world were getting phone calls from K-Mart saying their bill (some of nearly over 500 dollars) paid off. One man walked into K-Mart to say he simply could not afford any of the items he had put on layaway earlier in the year but the layaway angel was right behind him in line and made sure that his family and him had a christmas by paying for everything he wanted. This woman's husband has recently passed and left her with money she would never be able to spend on her own. Instead of being selfish, she spread holiday joy for families throughout the world.

While the story was touching and heart breaking, it also made me think that people have forgotten what the real meaning of christmas is. While I love the idea of hanging stockings, putting up a christmas tree, wrapping presents, making cookies, ect there's one thing I love more over everything else and that is spending time with my family.

There's nothing I would rather do than spend a day with my family. And not just on Thanksgiving and Christmas either, everyday of the year!

I feel as if people have been more stressed this year than they have in the past. It saddens me to know some children won't be waking up to presents under their tree and some may not even know what Christmas is.

Mason is finally to an age where he enjoys opening presents and he gets really excited to see christmas lights and he loves the fact that Santa is coming to his house soon. Christmas Eve, we plan on making reindeer food (oatmeal and glitter). You just mix the two things in a sandwich bag and spread it outside your house (it's much prettier and better if you have snow lol). My parents started doing it with me when I was younger and I plan on passing it down to my kids.

I know some of you who read this may be struggling this holiday season with providing your children with a Christmas but remember, you are giving them the best present of all;; a loving, hard working, caring parent and that's a lot more than what a lot of other kids have today. While your child/children may not understand it now, they will someday and they will realize that they were truly blessed with something amazing.

Merry Christmas Everyone.

Happy Birthday To The Love Of My Life

As I sit here and type this, I think about the past two years and all that has happened in my life.

I was never the girl who had her whole wedding planned and her kids named by the time she was 10. So for me to find out I would be expecting a baby was a huge surprise and far from planned. But not once will you ever hear me say I regret it, having Mason was the smartest thing I ever did.

I never thought I could love one human being so much. Even before I had given birth I didn't really realize how much I truly already loved him. The second I pulled him out I knew I had done something right in life even if the timing was a little bad. One look into those eyes and I knew he'd have me wrapped around his finger for forever and then some.

Mason Dash; Watching you grow into the boy you have become has been wonderful. It's amazing to watch you develop your own personality and you have made my life 1000 and 1 times better than I ever thought it could possibly be. I would be done for if anything ever happened to you and probably thrown in jail if anyone ever hurt you. You will always be my little bear or sprout as I call you even though you hate when I call you that now :) I love you my pumpy wumpy umpkin <3

Holistic Nutrition. ,

When I first started doing my "Mommy Blog" someone asked me about how I got turned onto holistic nutrition and how they should start. I realize most of you will be all blah, organic food, gross. But we're all subject to our own opinions. I for one enjoy the new lifestyle I have created for myself. While Scott isn't exactly a fan and tends to do as he pleases, Mason and I eat organically and I also used to make baby food for Mason which I'll be sure to blog about as well later on. Here are a list of things to eat and not to eat

What To Eat;;
  • Drink adequate amounts of purified water. At least 8 eight ounce glasses a day.
  • Choose organic food. Avoid pesticides, herbicides, genetically modified foods, and irradiated foods.
  • Choose whole grain foods. They carry more nutrition and fiber.
  • Try to buy locally grown.
  • Fatty acids are necessary for good health. Eat good fats in moderation but don't avoid fat all together.
  • Eat raw and minimally processed whole living food. Foods in their natural state contain more nutrients and active enzymes.
  • Eat a variety of nutrient-rich foods.
What To Avoid;;
  • Eliminate refined sugars, high fructose corn syrup, and artificial sweeteners.
  • Limit your salt intake to no more than 2300 mg a day
  • Coffee and soda.
  • Trans fat.
  • Don't microwave food or beverages.
  • Food additives such as artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, and MSG.
  • Genetically Modified Foods
I also deal with a lot of herbs now as well (no, not pot) There are 5 herbs you should look into if you're looking into losing weight. They are; Ginger, Wheat Grass, Cayenne, Bitter Orange, and Green Tea Leaves.
Cayenne as long as being good for weight loss is also good for better blood circulation, blood pressure, ect.

Hope these few tips help. Happy eating everyone!

Beauty Comes From Within!

I have been getting so many tweets and comments about the herbs that I’m constantly drinking on the show. There has been a lot of interest about what they are. I went to this amazing place over the summer called Surya Spa and ended up getting amazing life changing treatments that I will write more about later. I first met with Martha Soffer who is an acclaimed 22-year Ayurvedic therapist and Ayurvedic chef, Panchakarma & Marma specialist. She took my pulse and we talked for two hours and she customized some herbs for me specifically.
She made me a combination of herbs to help balance my body.  She also added some compatible herbs for my nervous system and energy, and finally, some herbs for my skin and hair. I drink them three times a day if I remember, otherwise two times for sure. I truly am a believer that beauty comes from within so try my best to treat my body well. What you eat and drink shows in your skin!
For more information please go to www.suryaspa.com.

A little bit of this, a little bit of that.

This is my weekly sometimes daily update for you guys on life.

The end of Dancing With The Stars is near and the winner will be crowned soon which means maybe a trophy for my brother, Rob? I hope to god so! I have never seen Rob work so hard for something in all of my life and I'm so glad he didn't let his fears get in the way of doing something he has learned to love. Guess we won't be playing Just Dance with him anymore. He deserves to win this so much though and even if he doesn't win I will still be the proudest sister a boy has ever seen. I love you Robbie <3

Thanksgiving is only a few days away which means turkey and lots of it. My mom always buys a HUGE turkey to supply all of us children come meal time and this is my favorite holiday actually. There's nothing I love more than having the whole family under one roof. We have so much fun together and it shows that we enjoy spending time with one another and live for the little things. It also means making christmas lists for everyone so they can start shopping! Whoop whoop!

Masey's birthday is just around the corner (December 14th) It's hard to believe that my little baby boy will be turning two. He has been the best thing to ever happen to me and every day that goes by he gives me reason to love him a little bit more. I've been planning his birthday party for weeks now and cannot wait to share all of the pics from it with you guys. I wish he'd stop growing at times so I could cuddle with him a little bit longer. But for the time being, I'll enjoy our little snuggle sessions in bed while they're available.

We're having a BIG sale at all of our DASH locations on Black Friday so be sure to stop by one of the stores. No, there is no online store. Sorry! Take 20% off all regular merchandise and an extra 10% off on already marked down items. It's going to be huuuugggeeee!

Today we shot for our annual Christmas cards. This is my favorite thing to do each year. Each year our family grows a little more and we always choose fun themes to have. Scott and I get the joy of having our own pictures done with Masey for our own Christmas cards which if you ask me, it's sort of a big deal. I never thought the day would come when I'd have my own little family and be able to make a card and send it to all of our close friends && relatives. lol. The simple things make me happiest of all...

One of my dear friends was in a horrific car accident this past Sunday and after being transported to the hospital, she passed. This is the second friend I have lost in the past month and Scott has also lost two different friends in the past month. All of our friends having died from car accidents and basically freak accidents. I feel like a lot of people have been passing at young ages recently and it breaks my heart to think God is taking these wonderful people from our lives but God has a plan for everyone and I have to believe that he is doing what is best for everyone. In the mean time my thoughts and prayers with all of Scott's and m y friends families. We know it's a tough time for all of you but if you stick together like a true family, you will come out so much stronger in the end. RIP to all of those lost.

I hope all of you dolls are well and I wish you all the best Thanksgiving ever.

The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly.

So much has been going on lately in my family's and my lives that I haven't had time to sit back and share with you guys all of the wonderful things we've been up to.

It starts with Kardashian Khaos our new boutique that is in the Mirage in Las Vegas. When Kim, Khloe, and I were younger, our dad would always take us to see the white tigers at the Mirage. It was our dream place and never in a million years did we dream that we'd open a boutique in it. It feels so surreal. And the business has been doing so well so far. People have been coming from all around the world to support my sisters and I and it's fantastic. From New England to Paris, you guys have been superb. Kardashian Khaos carries products that are NOT available at DASH. It's one of a kind merchandise and it all has to relate with Kim, Khloe, my mom and I. We have poker chips, towels, pens, playing cards, and the list goes on... We do not have online shopping for Kardashian Khaos so you'll have to be sure to stop by on your next vacation.

My sisters and I also just released our second book. This one is actually a novel called Dollhouse and it's based on real life experiences that we were always just too scared to share with anyone. We changed the names obviously so you wouldn't know what story belongs to who but it's a fun, dramatic book. It was released on the 15th and since then Khloe and I have gone to New York and New Jersey to do book signings. Book signings are my most favorite thing. There's nothing more special than when a fan walks up to you screams "I love you" and just starts balling her eyes out. It touches you in a special place and you know right then and there that you're doing something right in life. Tomorrow we'll be in California for a book signing and that'll be our last one for the time being. You can buy it at Barnes and Noble or on Amazon.com. It'd make a great christmas gift or stocking stuffer *hint, hint, wink, wink*

Kendall celebrated her 16th birthday. Like 7 times too, lucky girl. lol. We held a small dinner for her one night with the family and her closest friends and this past Saturday we threw a HUGE bash for her at the Sugar Factory. It's hard to believe that Kendall can drive me around now. My parents surprised her with a brand new 2012 Range Rover. Which I know some people will be like ugh, spoiled brat. Why buy a new driver a brand new car. But I don't think it's about whether she's a new driver or not I believe it's how you respect the things that are given to you and whether you appreciate it enough to take good care of it. Every vehicle gets a little dent and ding here and then. A part of life that we all must go through, some worse than others.

However, while there have been ups, there have also been downs.

Kim got divorced after only a few short months of being married. It was something that no one really expected but clearly Kim had been thinking about it quite often as to whether she had married the right man. I don't believe it's anyones place to judge someone on a matter they know nothing about and the only thing we could do at the time was to stand by my sister, support her, and help her get through it. Even if that meant turning the tv off or hiding the magazines we recieved in the mail with her picture on it or screening phone calls. We're a family and family sticks together no matter how hard things may get and no matter what someone in that family may do. We can only pray that Kim does find the man she is meant to marry and that she gets the love that she's been yearning for all these years. She's an amazing, hard working, beautiful, woman who deserves the best in this life especially when it comes to men. Some things aren't meant to last forever.

Also one of my close friends from college gave birth this past week to her son three months early. Baby David was born 3 months premature and will be in the hospital till about January when he will be big enough and be able to support himself on his own. His lungs had collapsed at one point but since then have been doing much better and he's proving to be a fighter and one strong little boy. It breaks my heart to think that my friend had to go through this. She suffered from placenta abruptio which there is no way of knowing it'll happen. It's just one of those things that life throws our ways when we least expect it. While David  may not be in the best condition he could possibly be in, he should turn out to be a healthy baby boy within time. Please keep David and his mommy and daddy in your prayers. Stay strong little man. We love you <3

I hope all is well with my darling dolls.
Love, Kourtney.

Malibu. Kardashian Kollection. Santa Barbara. Family dinners, ect.

Now it's time for a actual update on everything that has been going on in mine, Mason's, and Scott's lives. No more all about Kim wedding crap :)

A little over a week ago my family and I headed to Malibu for some lunch and shopping but it was not a fun time. The paparazzi made it very unpleasant for Mason. It was too intense for him and I opted to leave everyone early so him and I could go home to our safe place (our house) and just relax. I've never seen him so scared and confused out of my whole entire life. It pisses me off when people are up in his face trying to take his picture. Even fans ask if they can take a picture with him, i'm like uhh no, go get your own son to take pictures with.

I've had a lot of days off lately and I'm definitely not complaining. My days off are normally spent with Mason in bed watching morning cartoons. He loves Sesame Street and Mickey Mouse. I've had probably about 4-5 days off in the past two weeks. I guess Kim's wedding has put work on hold.

We had our launch party for Kardashian Kollection and it was amazing! There were models walking around all night with our items on and everyone in my family (the ladies that is) wore something from the Kardashian Kollection. Including shoes! Kim, Khloe and I have always dreamed of doing something like this and now our dream has officially come true. People are always complimenting us on our Kollection and it feels so great to know we made a decision that is paying off so well.

Fall is coming so I'm updating Mine and Mason's wardrobes. Scott can do his own, he's perfectly capable of that. I always find it more fun shopping for Mason than I do myself. I have a shopping issue these days, I think I need an intervention like we did for Kim. Whenever I have a shitty day I'm just like, yayy shopping time. Bad habit to have. Don't ever do it!

I'm so excited to be going back to New York this next week for filming. New York is so much faster paced than LA, so much more to do. And of course Dash is there which is where we'll end up spending most of our time. So if you're by Dash, stop by.. You may see either Kim or I there :)

I think that's all I have to update you guys on so enjoy.
Hope all is well with you!
Love, Kourtney <333

Kim's Fairytale Wedding!

Life has been so cray cray lately with Kim's wedding and all that I haven't had time to post a blog! What a terrible person I am. Most of you could probably care less anyways.

Kim's wedding was absolutely beautiful. I felt like a princess in my Vera Wang bridesmaids dress. I can only imagine how Kim felt in her dress. She was absolutely stunning and both her and Kris were glowing all night. We never believed Kim when she said that he was the one but you can see it in their eyes that they absolutely adore one another and they both make the other person terribly happy. It's almost sickening sometimes to watch. Ha! Kris did leave a bad taste in my mouth at first on our Bora Bora trip but he has come to grow on me along with the rest of the family. He definitely doesn't have a filter and he says whatever is on his mind, it takes some time getting used to lol.

Going back to the wedding, it was actually very private even though most of you don't feel that way. There were no cameras or cell phones inside the wedding. Lots of security was around. They closed multiple roads that day due to the wedding and we even went as far as having balloons put up in the air to prevent helicopters from getting too close. Here are some photos:

Kris and Kim's wedding rings are probably my most favorite part haha. Kris got Kim a wedding gift, a knot bracelet with two K's. Kris's wedding band is a gold band with black diamonds and Kim's is a diamond eternity band. Absolutely beautiful.

Kim's best friend Brittany Gastineau caught the bouquet at her wedding. Brittany actually told Kim to make sure she caught it. Lil cheater she is. However, Kim caught the bouquet at Khloe's wedding so apparently it's not considered good luck when you catch the bouquet from one of us Kardashians. Brittany, you're up next doll. Find Mr. Right!

Kris and Kim got married in front of 440 guests. Some of them including; Demi Lovato, Babyface, Vera Wang, Mario Lopez, Mark Ballas, Ciaro and Carmelo Anthony, Eva Longoria and Eduardo Cruz, Alan Thicke, Maria Menounos, Sugar Ray Leonard, Kathy Lee Gifford, Brit Gastineau, Greta Van Sustren, Jillian Barberie, Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne, Scottie and Larsa Pippen, and Dina, Ali and Lindsay Lohan.

Kim's dress was a ivory custom-designed Vera Wang gown with full tulle skirt, basque waist and hand-pieced Chantilly lace appliqué on the bodice and train. She wore Guiseppe Zanotti shoes.

The groom, 26, sported a made-to-measure white peak lapel tuxedo jacket, black tuxedo pants with white tuxedo shirt and white bow tie – all by Ermenegildo Zegna – and the couple exchanged rings by Lorraine Schwartz, who also designed the engagement ring.
Kris sported a made to measure white peak lapel tuxedo jacket, black tuxedo pants with white tuxedo shirt and white bow tie- all by Eemenegildo Zegna and they exchanged rings by Lorraine Schwartz, who also designed the engagement ring

For later in the evening, Kim planned two more changes, both Vera Wang ivory dresses, with a Judith Leiber clutch.
The first was a Georgette mermaid gown with hand-pieced Chantilly lace appliqué on the bodice and a skirt with hand-cut organza petals intermixed with Chantilly lace motifs and organza sprig embroidery.
The other Vera Wang dress was a bias-cut crepe back satin gown with V-neck and circle skirt.
At the reception, the groom changed into a black peak lapel Zegna tuxedo, white tuxedo shirt and black silk bow tie, to match his groomsmen.
E! News will air footage from the wedding Sunday at 6 p.m. ET/PT, and a two-part special, Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, will air Oct. 9 and 10, only on E!

Kris and Kim are on a short honeymoon right now but will return this week so Scott, Mason, Kim, Kris and I can head to New York to start filming for Kourtney and Kim Take New York season 2 which will air later in November.

Sneak Peek at Kim's Bridal Shower and Wedding.

A lot of you have been asking about Kim's bridal shower and wedding so I thought I'd share some information and pictures with you. While the wedding still hasn't happened and won't until the 20th of this month, the bridal shower has so I can share some pictures from that.

At Kim Kardashian’s Bridal Shower, her guests were gifted 6 nail polishes specially made for her by Nicole by OPI, including “Bling Bling Look at My Ring”, “I Pink He’s the One”, “Dreams Do Kim True”, “Glowing to the Chapel”, Here Kim’s the Bride” and “Wel-Kim to the Family”!
The guests were also given Kim’s brand new fragrance Love by Kim Kardashian, ShoeDazzle flip-flops, Fancie’s Cookies and Georgetown Cupcakes.

Now on to talking about her wedding;;

Kim, Rob, Khloe, Mom and Kris went to a cake tasting the other day.

A few days after the cake tasting, Kim went to Vera Wang for yet again another dress fitting. However, I cannot
show you pictures of that. It's a surprise. If you do want to see Kim's wedding though you can.
The event, dubbed “Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event”, will broadcast their wedding in a 2-part special on Sunday, October 9 at 8 pm and Monday, October 10 at 9 pm.

Kim in the meantime has also come out with a limited edition wedding fragrance. Love by Kim Kardashian, comes in a crystal-encrusted bottle and just 1,000 bottles were made -- one for Kim, two hundred for her wedding guests, and 799 for her fans

Kim and Kris also want their wedding cake to resemble the cake that was at Prince William  and Duchess Kate's royal affair.Kim and Kris's cake will have a 10 tier white cake with chocolate chip icing and black and white decorations.

Here are a few other things for you to know about the big day!

  • Victoria Beckham, Sugar Ray Leonard, Babyface and Jennifer Lopez are some of the names on the guest list for Kim and Kris’ wedding.
  • Kim’s bridesmaids will be her sisters Khloé, Kendall and Kylie, and I,  along with Kris’ sister Kaela Humphries.
  • Just like at Khloé’s wedding, Kim is planning to honor her late father Robert Kardashian at her wedding with an emotional tribute.

  • Kim will be wearing 4 different, custom-made, Louboutins. Two pairs for the reception, one pair for the rehersal and one for the afterparty.
